Initially, I hesitated sharing this because everybody struggles, and as a longtime minister of twenty-six years, I’m here to assist others and frankly, it’s hard to be transparent about certain personal things. But now, I could use prayer too. Every single one of us in the course of a lifetime will experience “dry” seasons when we just don’t understand what the Lord is doing. (It’s kind of hard to even type this without immediately deleting the whole thing.)
But the good news is that we’re NOT called “to understand,” but only believe, and to humbly seek His face. I’m taking a little time to reassess life and ministry. My back kind of seems pressed against the proverbial wall and in need of divine intervention. No, I’ll never quit on the calling of God to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My heart is to serve. However, if a couple of brothers and sisters in Christ would like to take a couple seconds to pray with me, I’d be most grateful. This prayer request will be taken down soon but I thank you in advance for your kindness. We’re praying for wisdom and discernment in order to enter the “right” open door(s), and into God’s perfect will. To Him be all glory, honor, and praise.
