This little blog is very short today but nevertheless, it’s a matter weighing heavily upon my heart, especially in the perilous time in which we live. Remember when you and I first gave our lives to Jesus and how we just had to share the good news with everyone? Whatever happened to our urgency to share the Gospel with lost and dying humanity? Wherever did that inner fire and urgency go? What are we now afraid of?
This is why we stand up at funerals and say that people who never wanted to be with God on this earth are now in “a better place” spending eternity with the One they didn’t want to be with here.
Time is short. The world and even some of those closest to you are in desperate need of the Lord. Every moment counts, dear friend. With whom do you need to share Jesus?
Come now, Holy Spirit. Anoint us with power, boldness, and the love of Christ to share the Gospel with someone today.
