Judges 2:7-8
And the people served the Lord all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders who outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great work that the Lord had done for Israel. And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the Lord, died at the age of 110 years.
Judges 2:10
And all that generation also were gathered to their fathers [they passed away]. AND THERE AROSE ANOTHER GENERATION after them WHO DID NOT KNOW THE LORD or the work that he had done for Israel.
Judges 2:11-12
And the people of Israel did what was evil in the sight of the Lord and served the Baals [simply put; demons].
AND THEY ABANDONED THE LORD, THE GOD OF THEIR FATHERS, who had brought them out of the land of Egypt. They went after other gods, from among the gods of the peoples who were around them, and bowed down to them. And they provoked the Lord to anger.
Do you realize THEY LOST IT IN ONE GENERATION? It only took one generation to lose it all. Why? Because the fathers didn’t teach their children as they should have. The same is happening in our own culture today. We’re at a critical inflection point right now. It’s time to repent, revive, and renew!
There is no such thing as a religionless society in this nation (or in the world for that matter). You just replace Christianity with a counterfeit religion which looks very similar to the earth worship, and worship of self that the first five books of the Bible (The Pentateuch) were written to refute. The Torah was at war with pagan polytheism…the gods of self, of earth, of child sacrifice and aberrant, unbridled sexual behavior. And now we’re just seeing those old ‘gods’ (demons) unleashed in our day, all rooted…in the sin of pride.
It’s time for the people of God, (not the apostate denominations nor false clergy), to stand up, protect our families, and shine the light of Christ in this present darkness by the power of God’s Word and the Holy Spirit, and utilize our delegated authority in the mighty Name of Jesus!
