“There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death” (Proverbs 16:25)
Are you presently journeying down a road that you are realizing is not God’s best for you? Is it possible that you need to make a full U-turn but are wrestling with finding the courage to turn the wheel? Think for a moment; is it time to end a wrong relationship, or to turn away from a bad habit or even an addiction? Maybe you need to leave behind an undisciplined life in which God always seems relegated to second place? In whatever area(s) you may be feeling stuck, be aware that there are no shortcuts or easy ways out. You may find yourself at the proverbial fork in the spiritual road right now, and you need to make the right decision. Be firm, decisive, and then with God’s help, stick to it. You may need to get the support of family members and spiritually mature friends to be there, and to pray for you.
There’s no time like right now to begin building or even rebuilding your life on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ, and His will for you. He deeply loves you, dear friend. He knows what’s best for you. Don’t continue wasting your life on foolish things. Don’t be satisfied with anything less than God’s perfect will for your life, because His will is always life-giving and fruitful.
