Discouraged? Even contemplated quitting? Yeah? Me too, but please hear me out. Whether you’re an ordained minister, an executive, a scientist, or in sales, or whatever the case may be, God hasn’t forgotten you in this season; He’s anointing and preparing you for more, and for strategic deployment. Yes, even amidst opposition, silence, isolation, closed doors, know that God’s timing is perfect. The anointing and calling of the Lord upon your life doesn’t mean things will get easier; it’s quite the contrary. Continue to stand and stay in faith. Here are just a few Biblical signs that as a Christ follower, you are anointed by God for a specific assignment:
*You are in a slow season and it feels like nothing is happening. (Deuteronomy 7:22; Galatians 4:4)
*Opposition is intensified the moment you said yes to God. (Luke 4:13; Ephesians 4:27 & 6:12)
*Your mind becomes a battleground. (1 Kings 19; 2 Corinthians 10:4-5; Psalm 105:19)
*People have forgotten you, but God hasn’t. (Genesis 40 & 41; Proverbs 21:1; Esther 6:1; 1 Samuel 30 IMPORTANT: Helping others in their season will position you for your own season.)
*You cannot quit even when you’re exhausted and think you can’t take anymore. (Jeremiah 20:9; Isaiah 60:22; John 10:10; Habakkuk 2:3)
Stay in faith, dear friend. Hold fast to the Lord’s hand. Your season is coming!
